she/her
Picture it – Massachusetts 1986. 5 children sit around a table while an adult teaches them to play D&D. One small, blonde girl rolls an oddly shaped die and the number facing up is a 20. The children cheer as the adult describes her fighter lopping off the head of the enemy in one fell swoop! That little girl wasn’t me, it was my little sister. But even though that moment wasn’t about my character it has stuck with me all these years. This is the power of role playing games.
Greetings! I am Celticdenefew, you can call me Celtic (hard C sound) or De. My pronouns are she/her. I am a professional nerd: IT Support by day and professional GM by night. I am a professional GM over on StartPlaying and my niche is with queer and neurodivergent players. I also love learning and playtesting new systems and specialize in running new games with strangers. My perspective on games will come from the place of “how can I break this new game/concept down to teach 4-6 strangers, who may or may not be neuro-spicy, in 4 hours or less?”
